Incorporating Vitamins And Nutritional Supplements Into A Healthy Weight Loss Program
Author: Linda Polansky
Many people incorrectly assume that using vitamins and
nutritional supplements is an easy deal — that you can use
these products without giving their use much thought. In point
of fact, when it comes to incorporating vitamins and
nutritional supplements into your overall weight loss program,
you have to give their use serious thought. You must make
proper decisions as to how these products will fit into your
overall health weight loss regimen and into your ultimate
health weight maintenance program down the road.
Before taking actions in any problem we encounter, there should
always be a plan first. That is, if we want to come up with
positive results. You wouldn’t want to enter a battle without
preparing how to defeat the enemy, would you? Attempting a task
without planning is like building a house without a blueprint or
playing against a basketball team without planed plays with your
teammates. How could you expect a good outcome?
Consider joining groups which has a common goal with you:
losing weight. Through others, you can solicit advice. No one
could tell what the best way for you is but having real people
who have real experience about such situation is a plus point.
As you know new information and second opinions about your
dieting plans, you also gain more friends. Remember, two heads
are better than one.
Can’t Lose Weight? Maybe You Have A Thyroid Disorder
Author: Ken Black
A thyroid disorder called hypothyroidism means you have an
underactive thyroid gland. If you have trouble losing weight no
matter what you do, it could be because you are hypothyroid.
There are almost 30 million Americans with thyroid disease and
women are 7 times more likely than men to have it. Hypothyroid
is the most common thyroid disorder and often misdiagnosed by
doctors.
You may get this because it is inherited, or because of
previous problems, such as nodules, goiter, thyroid cancer,
previous thyroid surgery, another autoimmune disease.
Many of you have given up on weight loss. I’ve been there and
it feels like you are at wits end. You don’t know what to do.
You’ve tried it all. Now you believe it’s impossible for them
to lose weight.
KEY #1 Eat lots of Organic Vegetables and Fruits!
Veggies and fruits are low in calories, provide filling fiber,
vitamins and minerals, and protect your health in many ways.
Organic produce has superior nutrition without the insecticides
and poisons found in ordinary produce. Eat as much of your
produce raw as you can. Cooked or frozen is acceptable, but
stay away from canned. Naturally fermented (lacto-fermented)
vegetables, such as sauerkraut and kimchee, are very good for
you as well.
Is Swimming Effective For Weight Loss And Tone Muscles?
Author: Chris Chew
Well, most people think swimming is effective to tone muscles
and lose fat and that is why the swimming pools everywhere are
always packed in the evenings and weekends. Well, I must first
declare that I am not anti-swimming. In fact, I swim regularly.
However when I researched materials for my articles, I came
across some negative aspects of swimming from the scientific
community.
I know what it’s like to be stuck. I lost a little weight and
then I stopped. I had about 25-30 lbs. to go and nothing was
happening. I was exercising, eating healthy and no more weight
loss. Here is how I was able to lose the rest of the weight I
wanted to. You can do it too!
If you are a person who is interested in eating a balanced diet
in order to enjoy a healthy life, you may be contemplating the
use of vitamins and nutritional supplements. There are some
definite benefits that can be derived from the proper use of
vitamin products and nutritional supplements. However, in order
to make vitamins and nutritional supplements an effective and
appropriate part of an overall health diet program, it is
necessary to understand how these products fit within an
overall healthy eating regimen.
In terms of diet pills, before asking about their
effectiveness, it’s better to ask: are they safe? Let’s face it
- a diet pill manufacturer is going to brag about how many
pounds you’ll lose by taking their product, not how many side
effects you’ll have. As a result, most customers are not given
enough information about the safety of diet products and
unfortunately might put their health at risk.
