Addressing The Fears And Feelings Associated With Weight Loss
Author: Dr. Fit, Sidney E. Reeves, CFT
It seems a little strange that losing weight can entice
feelings of fear. Fear doesn’t seem to have a place in such a
constructive process. Usually weight loss is associated with
both positive and negative feelings. The positive feelings are
more obvious and understandable. You’re feeling better, have
more energy, look better, fit in nicer clothes, etc. However,
are you aware that negative feelings about your life changing
process are also normal?
Here are 10 tips for helping to lose weight by using healthier
meals and 10 tips for helping when you are eating out.
10 Tips for a better healthier meal
When it comes to cooking a meal for the family, don’t let your
diet take a back seat. Just because you’re on a diet and the
rest of your family are not does not mean that you have to eat
a different meal. There are times when you have to draw the
line e.g. Christmas lunch, Sunday lunch and family gatherings.
Take a look at some of the suggestion below for a healthier
meal:
Hoodia Gordonii is the newest catch phrase in the weight loss
industry today. Everyone wants to be in on the secret, and
still more are wondering about this miraculous plant. What does
it do, how can it help you lose weight, and why wasn’t it heard
of before? Well, some of it appears to be true, however there
is more to weight loss than just taking a pill.
Once you’ve achieved your desired weight, you return to your
old eating habits and levels of activity, the weight will
return. Plain and simple.
Quick-fix diets face this kind of problem. They don’t offer
long-term changes which sometimes cause the downfall of the
program.
Stay realistic
Avoid feeling dissatisfaction with what you have accomplished.
Enjoy your life and be satisfied with the healthy weight you
can achieve. Initially, weight loss is gradual compared to
those who return to their previous weight.
It’s always been fascinating to me how business, finance and
weight loss parallel one another.
Take a personal bank account for instance. If you add more to
it than you take out of it, your account will grow bigger and
bigger. The same is true with your body. If you put more into
it through eating than you take out of it through activity it
will grow bigger and bigger. That’s a simple truth isn’t it?
Regular readers of my work have come to expect articles about the
power of whey proteins to potentaily fight cancer and improve
immunity among its many benefits. The ability of whey to fight
cancer, improve glutathione levels and immunity, is well
documented (readers interested in brushing up on the effects of
whey on cancer, immunity, etc, can read previous articles by me
at the LEF’s web site: www.lef.org and www.BrinkZone.com).
